Me Well, My name is Lynne
and I am a teacher from Celina, Ohio. The Ping ball collection was the
idea of our daughter, who was eight years old when she decided to start
collecting Ping golf balls. Her small collection grew into a family hobby, so we
buy and sell Pings on eBay to both enhance our collection and to introduce new
collectors to the hobby. Our eBay ID is pingdom and my email address is
rays@bright.net. We are always looking for Ping Balls - individual balls or bulk
lots. We will either add them to our personal collection or resell them to
beginning collectors. If you have Ping balls to sell, email for me an offer.
George . My E-bay ID is pingballs1 and I live in State College,
Pa. I started collecting Ping golf balls in September 2001. I have
approximately 140 different 2 color combinations and display around 400 Ping
golf balls. My objective is to collect an Eye and Eye2 ball of every 2-color
combination Ping produced. I occasionally buy, sell and trade balls with other
collectors. This hobby has been a great way to have fun and to develop new
friendships.
My name is Dave and I live in Carterville, IL. My eBay ID is
dlb125 and I have been collecting PING balls and other PING memorabilia
since September 2002. At present, my collection includes 95 different two color
combinations, 20 different solid colors. I display around 450 Ping balls along
with my other Ping items. I really enjoy this hobby and have met a lot of great
people. This hobby is so unique in that we don't know for sure at this point
how many colors were made. Even in the short time that I have been involved I
can see an increased interest in this hobby and hopefully with the help of this
website we can work together to further enhance our hobby.
Jim My eBay ID is JRJBaker and I live in Lees Summit, MO.
My main interest is the bi-color Pings. I'm not much interested in collecting
anything else, e.g., solids, memorabilia, etc. I started collecting these balls
about 15 years ago, but became more serious about it in 2003 when I found so
many for sale on eBay. I'm more interested in collecting these balls because of
the bi-color look than whether it's a Ping Eye2, promo, etc. (By the way...what
if Ping or some other company starts making these bi-color golf balls again? I
know...don't ask.
Robert My ebay id is PadreOne and I am a Baptist Minister from
Iron Station, NC. I not only collect Pings -I also collect signatures and
pretty face woods. I probably have about 60 different color Pings and do have
some duplicates, though not many. I would be interested in trading or buying
from other collectors. I have a good many mint duplicates in signatures. Right
now I am especially interested in aqua & silver in solids, pink/green, and
pink/lavender.
My name is Brian and I live in Arcadia, CA. My Ebay ID is
BLUU8888. I started collecting Ping golf balls sometime in 2002. It's a fun
hobby and I like the color combinations. I have also met some nice and helpful
people. My collection consists of about 1000 balls. Majority of them are brand
new. I mostly sell them, but I do trade with other collectors. I am mostly
interested in rare 2 color combinations preferably with Gold, Silver, or Black.
If you have Ping balls to sell or trade, email me.
Dave My ebay user name is 150pole and I am from the Baltimore
area. I have been collecting Pings for about 1&1/2 years now. I have about
250 on display. I collect ALL kinds of Pings. I to am always looking for that"
NEW MINT" ball to either replace or add to my collection. Trading & selling
these balls has gotten me in touch with a lot of nice people.I have read
comments from others on the Ping website and hope this hobby can grow even
bigger. Bringing new people into this hobby is how things grow and keep on
going.

2004......I also collect logo balls of golf courses and colleges.....I also have

different colors. I have a lot of dupes to trade or sell...
Andrew is my name and I am in Florida. My email is mopary@hotmail.com and my eBay username is barkerdildos. I collect odd things, but I collect things that grow in value. I happened across the ping balls early this year [2004], and presently have 304. I love the hobby. I want to thank the considerate people about warning of fake balls. I have a lot of dupes, and I am currently working on refurbishing the clear coat bubbling problems. If this works like I am told, well, we will see.
My name is Kip and I live in Mesa AZ.. My eBay ID is MesaKip and I have been collecting PING balls for about 8 years. A friend who sells golf balls for a living got me hooked on Ping balls. I now sort golf balls for a friend who bought my other friend out. I work in Alaska for B.P. on a 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off and live in Mesa Arizona. Most of the people who started selling ping balls on E-bay after I started are gone?? I bought ping balls from a few people who spent many years working at the Ping factory who sold me some of the "Proto type color pings" and yet every time I think I have all the different color pings I find a new color. Some of the biggest Ping collectors are also gone and have taken some very nice pings with them!! 6 years ago on E-bay you could buy ANY gold or silver color ping ball for $40-$60 and I thought there was no way you could ever turn around and make any money down the road so everyone who was a collector did it for the love of collecting ping balls. My largest find of ping balls came from a golf ball dealer who had 756 "old ping" balls in his garage and wanted 20 cents a ball. I have found over 300 ping balls here in Arizona 3 or 4 times but it's getting harder to find as more collectors start hunting for them in "Garage Sales", auctions and Divers. I have come in contact with several very nice people and only a few crooks through E-bay selling ping balls. Probably the rarest ping ball that I found was a "Neon green/yellow" ping ball that I've never have seen again. Also some of the brown color combinations are hard to find in mint conditions. Everyone let a tan/green ball slip by them not long ago because it looked like a green'white on E-bay except George because he had one already Another color ping that's not seen on E-bay often is the U.A. color ball from here in Arizona. It's a different color then the A.S.U. ball that you see a lot of.
